Built From
Honest Material.
Every structure begins with the right timber. Carefully selected, precisely cut, and joined with intention.
At Framework & Field, wood is more than a building material. It carries strength, character, and history. The quality of a structure is determined long before it is raised — in the species chosen, the way it is milled, and the care taken at every connection.

What is timber framing, and how is it different from conventional construction?
Timber framing uses large solid wood members connected with traditional joinery rather than nails or metal connectors. The structure is exposed, structural, and intentional — designed to last for generations rather than being hidden behind finishes.
What types of structures do you build?
We design and build timber frame homes, cabins, barns, pavilions, outdoor living structures, and specialty buildings — as well as structural timber packages for clients working with their own builders.
Can I customize a design or work with my own architect?
Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with architects and designers, and we also offer in-house design services. Every structure can be fully customized based on site, use, and budget.
Do you offer pre-designed plans, or only custom builds?
We offer both. Some clients start with one of our pre-designed plans and tailor it to their needs, while others begin with a completely custom design from day one.
Where do you build, and how far do you travel?
We primarily work throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas, and surrounding regions, but we also provide timber packages and select full builds beyond that footprint depending on project scope.
What does the typical process look like from start to finish?
Projects generally move through design, engineering, fabrication, and on-site assembly. We guide clients through each phase to ensure clarity, coordination, and quality at every step.
When should we contact you in the planning process?
Earlier is always better. Engaging us early helps align design decisions, budgets, and site conditions — and often saves time and cost later.
Do you offer structural timber packages only?
Yes. We can design and fabricate complete timber frame packages — including engineered drawings — for clients who already have a builder or are managing construction independently.
